About SB

My name is Sarahbeth Ramsey and I am a Multidisciplinary Creative Specialist. I integrate multiple disciplines to create compelling communication strategies, artistic expressions, and positive experiences.

My digital marketing experience spans over 12 years, starting in a corporate job, and then soon after branching out on my own. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business from Towson University, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore. I am also a certified brand specialist and strategist through Level C and world-renowned brand expert Marty Neumeier (also author of The Brand Gap). My brand work focuses heavily on developing identity and brand photography.

Here are a few other credentials:
Adjunct Instructor: I teach private classes, but I’m also a part-time adjunct faculty member at Northwestern Michigan College (NMC). I teach digital marketing in the spring and fall to the business school students, and in the summer semester to the culinary arts students (GLCI). Last summer (2023) I built the first Sales & Marketing curriculum for the Great Lakes Culinary Institute.

Artist: I am primarily an acrylic artist although I have recently dabbled more in other mediums like mixed medium work and watercolors. I was very fortunate to have local startup incubator 20Fathoms feature my work in 2023 as a resident artist, and look forward to more exciting opportunities in the future.

Creative Writer: Over the past few years, I’ve shared musings online through honest social media posts and the virtual chronicling of different experiences. My work has also been featured in media outlets such as Northern Michigan Women’s Magazine, and the Northern Express.

Volunteer Work:

Photographer and Michigan State Parks Photography Ambassador: I am proud to be a photographer for Michigan State Parks, so you will find many examples of my work at the parks on both this website and my social media accounts. I also do brand photography and event photography.

Traverse Connect Ambassador Chair: I serve as the ambassador chair for the Traverse Connect Ambassador program, helping to welcome businesses to the Grand Traverse area, and making sure that they have everything they need for success.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, paddle boarding, reading, traveling, and spending time with my French Bulldogs, Margaux and Vivienne.

I look forward to learning more about you, as well.
